Job Summary:

Petland Retail Stores is seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in helping customers find their perfect pet match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customers leave the store with the right pet for their lifestyle.
  • Educate customers on the basic needs of pets and the value of Petland's pets, including the 5-Step Sale and 4 Basic Needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including performing opening, daily, and closing procedures.
  • Assist with community service projects and animal care tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with Animal Care Technicians to ensure the health and well-being of our pets.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and frequent lifting.

  • Our store environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
