Zantech is seeking a skilled QA Tester to assist our Army Client in an Application Development and Maintenance Program. This IT team adheres to a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and supports applications that undergo 2-3 releases annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures under general supervision to ensure that all information systems products and services comply with organizational standards and meet end-user needs.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Execute regression tests, smoke tests, and comprehensive software testing to ensure proper functionality and defect-free operation.
- Document issues and collaborate to resolve all identified problems.
- Utilize tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms to log test results related to the release's work items.
- Provide management with updates on problem resolution progress.
- Propose enhancements to existing procedures and perform workflow analysis to recommend quality improvements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- OR - Associates Degree with 7 years of relevant experience. - Proven experience in IT Application Development.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Active DOD Secret clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret/Secret SSBI.
