About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Furry Land Mobile Pet Grooming in Columbia/Jefferson City. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality, personalized pet grooming services to clients in the Columbia area
* Employ gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement to ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process
* Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend appropriate grooming products for home care
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, ensuring all grooming equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-maintained

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a professional pet groomer, with a deep understanding of various grooming techniques, breed-specific cuts, and coat types
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to drive a grooming van safely and efficiently
* Passion for working with animals and a demonstrated ability to handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality grooming services
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on customer demand
