Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient imaging services using MRI technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Perform quality MRI scans, ensuring accurate and precise imaging of patients' anatomical structures.
  • Patient Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that MRI equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning within manufacturer specifications.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure high-quality patient care and imaging services.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Certification: Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year of direct experience with cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Skills: Knowledge and expertise in performing required procedures and exams, communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
