Machining Electrician Job Overview

Foresight Energy is seeking an experienced Machining Electrician to join our team. As a Machining Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex electrical systems on mining equipment.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on mining equipment, using your knowledge of electrical prints and circuit diagrams.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on electrical equipment, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate all face equipment, including conveyors, crushers, and haul trucks.

Requirements:

  1. 2+ years of underground experience in electrical maintenance.
  2. MSHA Certified Electrical Card holder and Illinois Electrical Certificate.
