We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team at BluePearl Pet Hospital. As a key member of our Emergency and Critical Care department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
- Triage emergency cases, obtaining vital signs and providing critical care as needed.
- Perform digital radiography, ensuring proper patient positioning and technique.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications via various routes, utilizing medical math calculations and proper dosing techniques.
- Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels.
- Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including empathy and patience when addressing client concerns.
