Dishwasher Job Description

The Dishwasher is a vital member of our Troon Golf team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, and load them into the dish machine.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are ready for use.
  • Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour to maintain optimal cleaning performance.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand, using the correct cleaning solutions and techniques.
  • Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster, and ensure the dishwashing area is kept clean and organized.
  • Clean and roll/unroll mats, and fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
  • Sweep/mop floors, and sweep up trash around the exterior of the restaurant and garbage dumpster.
  • Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed by management.
  • Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry and safe.
  • Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

  • Understanding of safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Dependability and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management.
