About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse with YesCare, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality healthcare services to inmates in a correctional facility. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies, administer medications, and document all nursing care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to medical emergencies and initiate care as needed
Administer and document medications on the Medication Administration Record
Perform histories and physicals on inmates, assessing their health status and referring to appropriate healthcare providers
Teach healthcare information to patients and correctional staff
Collect samples, specimens, and cultures as ordered by physicians
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current valid state license for Registered Nurse
Active CPR certification
Knowledge of specific state laws and regulations governing practice
