The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University, is a leading institution in the field of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical instruction and supervision to students and house officers
  • Conducting research and scholarly activities in the field of small animal internal medicine
  • Participating in the development and implementation of curriculum and educational programs
  • Contributing to the department's clinical service and administrative efforts

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A DVM/VMD or equivalent degree
  • Eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan
  • Board certification in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, or European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

An advanced research degree or focused research experience will be favorably considered.
