JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Plater

Project Type: Shutdown

Duration: Temporary Assignment

Objective

The primary aim of this role is to provide a high-quality and consistent plating construction service that aligns with project and organizational standards and protocols. The position plays a crucial role in supporting the overall objectives and timelines of the company while ensuring that all tasks are executed safely, with no adverse effects on personnel, materials, or the environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute all necessary tasks related to plating and structural work in a safe and consistent manner, adhering to project specifications and guidelines.
2. Follow the directives provided by the supervising personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
3. Complete all assigned work in accordance with the relevant workpack, job card instructions, and associated documentation.
4. Collaborate with other trades and disciplines as required, contributing to a cohesive multi-disciplinary team.
5. Obtain necessary permits to work (PTW) to ensure that all tasks are performed in a controlled and safe environment.
6. Conduct appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) to maintain safety and control throughout the execution of work.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualifications:
1. Completion of a 4-Year Apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
2. Valid safety passport.
3. Completion of mandatory training including wood safety, induction, and risk awareness.
4. Training in Abrasive Wheels.
5. Working at Height/Harness training.
