Pacific Coast Speech Services, a member of the Point Quest Group, is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to provide speech-language therapy assistance to students with communication disorders. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the guidance and supervision of a Certificated Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality services to our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech-language therapy assistance to students, following established treatment plans and implementing strategies to support communication development.
  • Assist in the preparation of therapy materials, such as core boards, choice boards, and visual icons, to support student learning.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field with SLPA certification.
  • Valid California State license to serve as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in standard software applications.
