Slitter Assistant

Job Summary:

The Slitter Assistant - Production Support is responsible for assisting Slitter Operators in secondary slitting operations to increase Net Efficiency, First Pass Yield (NEFPM) on the assigned shift. This role involves packing roll stock from the Slitting and Press Departments, staging rolls to be slit, and keeping the department supplied with necessary materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Slitter Operators in secondary slitting operations to increase NEFPM on the assigned shift.
- Pack roll stock from the Slitting and Press Departments.
- Stage rolls to be slit and keep the department supplied with necessary materials.
- Train to operate folder/perforator when material is scheduled for the machine.

Requirements:

- Excellent attendance history.
- Proven record of success in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work with various teams and be an effective problem solver.
- Ability to take pride in work and have excellent analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
