Epic Travel Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN specializing in Oncology for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview

As a Travel RN in the Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts and requires a commitment to delivering high-quality nursing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialty: Oncology
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Work Schedule: 48 hours per week, with potential for 36 hours
  • Shift: Nights, 7 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Current state nursing license
  • A minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of nursing experience
  • Proficiency in IV starts and electronic documentation
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Preferred certifications: ONS chemotherapy/bio certification and Chemo Certified
  • Experience in LTAC, Trauma Level I & II, Teaching Hospitals, and Community Hospitals is advantageous
