Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ohio State University Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Monitor patients during the imaging process and provide assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Ohio State License.
  • 2 years of experience in adult ICU, adult outpatient, and pediatric acute care.
  • Proficiency in abdominal, female pelvis, male pelvis, chest, brain, face/soft tissue neck, hip/bony pelvis, knee, and shoulder imaging.
  • Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and Siemens equipment.
