QUALIFICATIONS

  • RELOCATION REQUIRED
  • Prior experience in rent-to-own or retail home furnishings is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 2 to 4 years of supervisory or management experience in a retail setting is preferred.
  • Must adhere to a drug-free workplace policy and successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
  • A valid driver's license is required, along with a driving record that meets organizational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn to manage all facets of daily store operations, including:

  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for both employees and customers.
  • Fostering employee engagement and motivation while promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Maximizing store performance and efficiency through effective hiring, scheduling, training, performance management, and mentoring.
  • Overseeing store management, including security, cash handling, financials, marketing initiatives, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and reporting.
  • Managing inventory control to ensure merchandise is well-organized and appealing.
  • Identifying current and future customer needs to remain responsive to market trends.
  • Maintaining the stability and reputation of the Rent One brand within the community.
  • Performing any additional tasks and responsibilities that may arise during daily operations.
