Join Our Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Frontline Medical Professional to join our team at Balance Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties, including greeting patients, taking vital signs, and maintaining accurate patient files.
  • You will assist with examination, treatment, and procedures, and maintain a sanitized and safe working environment.
  • You will also be expected to maintain HIPAA standards and handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of basic medical procedures, such as wound dressing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Strong organizational and clerical skills to maintain patient files and perform office duties.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.

Education and Experience

  • One year of experience working as a medical assistant.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent combination of training.
  • EMR experience, preferably with ModMed.
  • Current American Heart Association CPR Certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The hourly rate for this position is between $22-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
