MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Tech to join our team at Crawford Memorial Hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and providing exceptional patient care.

• Operate MRI equipment: Safely operate MRI machines to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease during the exam.
• Communication: Clearly explain procedures to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient information, test results, and other relevant data.
• Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure optimal performance.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Certifications: Current ARRT (MRI) certification, IEMA Radiography certification, and BLS certification.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Education: Completion of a radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
