Overview

At Mercy, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service to our patients. As a Polysomnography Technician, you'll play a vital role in our Cardiopulmonary Services team, providing sleep testing services that meet the highest standards of quality and compassion.

Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Department Director, you'll be responsible for conducting sleep tests in accordance with physician's orders and department policies.
  • You'll work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, from preparation to post-test analysis.
  • As a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT), you'll be expected to maintain the highest level of certification and adhere to industry standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: RPSGT certification required, with American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
  • Preferred Experience: One (1) year of experience in sleep testing or a related field.
