Hyperbaric Technician

St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking a skilled Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients
• Work under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide quality patient care
• Meet the qualifications and requirements for the position

Requirements:

• Minimum two years' experience in healthcare
• Hyperbaric, wound care, or critical care experience preferred
• Credentialed or licensed in the state where working
• Certification for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment preferred but not required
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Current license, certification, or diploma required in one of the following areas:
  • Medical Assistant
  • Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
  • National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy technician
  • Practical Nurse
  • Registered Nurse
  • Emergency Medical Technician
