Role Overview

The Norton Thoracic Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is seeking two board-certified/board-eligible thoracic surgeons to join its exceptional team. These ideal candidates will have extensive training, experience, and expertise in all aspects of non-cardiac thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive techniques.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified professionals with:

  • A strong educational background (MD or DO degree)
  • Successful completion of ACGME-approved General Surgery Residency and Thoracic Surgery Fellowship (or an I-6 Tract equivalent)
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
  • A passion for delivering high-quality clinical care in a collaborative setting

The Norton Thoracic Institute is a premier organization that includes seven thoracic and esophageal surgeons, partner pulmonologists, and critical care physicians, dedicated to providing the highest quality care for patients with thoracic diseases.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Deliver superb clinical care to patients with thoracic diseases
  • Work collaboratively with our team of experts to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain and develop an expanding practice in line with the growth of the Greater Phoenix area
  • Meet the requirements for full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $213,110 - $322,733, based on the provided compensation range and location.
