About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Sonographer to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Medical Sonographer - Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular and/or cardiac procedures/studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
  • Review patient's medical record to obtain necessary clinical information
  • Position patients and select proper transducer and technical factors for accurate ultrasound procedures
  • Analyze sonograms and communicate findings to physicians
Requirements:
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Vascular Technologist (RVT) registration issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) registration with Adult Echo issued by the ARDMS or Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registration issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
