Job Title: Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Dover, New Hampshire. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in our 32-bed Med Surg Ortho unit.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to work full-time nights in our Med Surg Ortho unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician or nurse manager.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license.
  • Experience in orthopedic nursing, preferably in a Med Surg Ortho unit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
