Clinical Admission Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Admission Specialist to join our team at Corecare Systems Inc.
About the Job:
The Clinical Admission Specialist will be responsible for assessing the clinical appropriateness of clients referred to our organization for admissions. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess clinical appropriateness for all clients referred to our organization for admissions.
- Document forms, gather information, and flag forms as needed.
- Address concerns of physicians and family members of patients.
- Provide information with policy and parameters of confidentiality.
- Recommend measures to improve communication with referral sources.
- Maintain and refer data on specific needs and services.
- Actively participate in residential in-service meetings.
- Develop written guidelines and agendas for students or interns to help improve the quality of learning and experience.
- Share knowledge and skills obtained with other staff.
- Follow proper notification procedures.
Requirements:
- High School diploma; Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Minimum two years of behavioral health experience or relevant work experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Office skills required (computer skills, typing, fax, telephone, photocopying, etc.).
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
