Job Summary:
The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our processing plant and equipment. This includes cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floors, and equipment, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in facilities maintenance or sanitation, and be able to lift 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize all processing equipment and surfaces
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Report any mechanical problems or poor quality conditions to Supervisor or Maintenance staff
• Resolve immediately-correctable issues in the course of daily activities
• Assist in creating a One-Team environment by communicating effectively with all plant supervision and staff

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Prior egg grading machine experience an plus but not mandatory
• Reading and comprehensive skills necessary to follow instructions, and document
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to twist and bend
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time on different surfaces, including concrete
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
