The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for residents, adhering to all relevant regulations and company standards. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly cleans designated areas within the established time frame using appropriate cleaning agents, including resident units, communal spaces, offices, and restrooms.
  • Conducts various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Maintains cleaning carts and informs the supervisor when supplies are low.
  • Properly stores cleaning equipment and supplies after use.
  • Communicates any maintenance needs or repairs to the supervisor.
  • Observes and reports any unusual resident behaviors or conditions.
  • Addresses resident concerns and complaints promptly.

  • Must have a genuine passion for serving the senior community.
  • Exhibits patience, tact, and a positive attitude, especially when interacting with residents.
