Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Odessa, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work with our clients in Odessa, Texas. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Experience working with nuclear medicine equipment and radioactive materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
