About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist as a scrub technician in the OR, ensuring proper sterile and aseptic technique and setup/use of equipment.
  • Prepare rooms for all procedures, ensuring necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment are available.
  • Provide technical skill in the care and use of instruments, supplies, and equipment used during a surgical procedure.
  • Maintain proper sanitary maintenance of equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
  • Use autoclave and clean per protocol.
  • Provide ultrasound guidance under physician's supervision during transfers.
  • Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties, answering questions, and providing support.
Requirements
  • Sterile Processing required.
  • Formal MA education/certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in an OR/Ambulatory Surgical setting.
  • Experience in women's health (e.g., OB/GYN) preferred.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
  • Professionalism and strong customer service skills a must.
  • Able to work rotation of weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a warm demeanor.
  • Meticulously organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
