Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Clinical Expertise: Assess laboratory results, perform pharmacokinetic dosing, and ensure accurate prescription order entry to ensure medications are properly concentrated, without incompatibilities, stable and properly stored.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with providers, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy or a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy desirable) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • License: Current license as a registered pharmacist in state of employment.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of recent experience and strong knowledge base in intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy.
