Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commissioning process for electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, transformers, and distribution panels.
  • Evaluate and validate electrical design documents, schematics, and drawings to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and execute functional testing, verification, and acceptance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including troubleshooting faults, alarms, and anomalies.
  • Advise on routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Create detailed commissioning reports and documentation, maintaining precise records of all activities and findings.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures in collaboration with the project team.
  • Provide training and support to operational staff regarding electrical systems and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, codes, and standards related to data center electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical commissioning within data center or critical facility environments.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and power distribution.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NETA, NFPA, NEC, and IEEE.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
