Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality diagnostic procedures, including CT scans, general radiography, and fluoroscopy.
  • Provide and use radiation protection devices and techniques in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Maintain radiographic quality, ensuring accurate patient positioning and technique manipulations.
  • Document required information in the computerized information system (RIS).
  • Assist radiologists and/or physicians in specific procedures, patient care, and other duties as required.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate rooms/schedules/staffing to complement patient care needs.
Requirements
  • Associates of Applied Science - Radiologic Technology Program or Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 years of prior CT experience.
  • Current, unexpired Iowa Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist and Computed Tomography Technologist.
  • BLS within 3 months of hire.
