Hut Master

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hut Master to join our team at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. As a Hut Master, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, managing the backcountry dining experience, and ensuring the smooth operation of our mountain lodge.

• Organize and execute backcountry dinners, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
• Purchase and transport food, linens, alcohol, and drinks, managing supplies and personnel in variable trail conditions.
• Perform basic hut maintenance, including shoveling snow, clearing walkways, and conducting generator upkeep.
• Delegate tasks during meals, manage evening cleanup, and handle alcohol sales at events.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
• Cooking experience preferred
• Knowledge of safety practices, CPR/first aid certification
• Familiarity with local geography, trails, and conservation principles
