Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the relevant state
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
- Completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (Study Guide Available)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care preferred
- Training in EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred

Additional Information:
- This position is not open to local candidates.
The facility operates a Level I Trauma Center with a capacity of 40 beds, including 12 hall beds and 6 supertrak. The unit caters to all ages and medical conditions, including trauma cases. Nurses may occasionally assist with multiple trauma situations, although staffing primarily relies on regular staff for documentation and patient care.
Our scheduling policy ensures that nurses are not assigned shifts every other day, with a minimum of two consecutive days scheduled at a time. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: Typically 5:1, with a mix of patients in rooms and lower acuity patients in hallways.
