Job Summary

Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company, is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for compounding sterile finished bulk products, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nonsterile and aseptic compounding activities per batch record documentation.
  • Compound Level 1 batches proficiently (simple sterile solutions).
  • Document information correctly in batch records, CAMS (operator access level), and area logbooks.
  • Review and verify batch record entries. Assist in the compounding of Level 2 and 3 batches.
  • Prepare major and miscellaneous compounding equipment for use.
  • Clean equipment and perform rinse water testing.
  • Assist in the sterilization of compounding equipment.
  • Perform filter integrity testing. Prepare filters for sterilization.
  • Perform daily and weekly scale calibration checks. Weigh materials not already preweighed and staged for the batch.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain the Nonsterile Compounding area.
  • Meet and maintain all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
  • Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.
  • Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.

  • Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.
  • Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
