As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri or eligible for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, such as ACLS or PALS.
- Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a neuro stepdown or intensive care unit.
