Key Responsibilities
  • Produce copy that:
  • Is succinct, clear, innovative, and defensible
  • Exhibits strong sentence structure
  • Maintains overall coherence and logical progression
  • Is free from grammatical errors
  • Contains no spelling mistakes
  • Engages in the creation and development of:
    • Headlines, subheadings, and body text
    • Fact-checking and referencing
    • Conceptualizing campaigns for various formats, including direct mail, promotional materials, digital ads, and more
    • Educational resources for sales teams
  • Devote significant time to ensuring that marketing materials for primary accounts are produced accurately, creatively, and promptly
  • Collaborate with Account Services and colleagues to gather product information
  • Conduct research to obtain relevant background and current developments (utilizing online resources, medical literature, etc.)
  • Analyze advertising trends, consumer feedback, and other relevant data to inform presentation strategies
  • Work alongside supervisors and/or art directors to devise creative strategies and concepts, occasionally leading creative initiatives
  • Review and present copy to senior team members to guarantee alignment with strategic objectives and tone
  • Adapt and refine copy in response to an evolving landscape until final approval is achieved
  • Demonstrate flexibility in providing copy support across various accounts as needed
  • Collaborate with Art Directors on new business prospects
  • Explore innovative ways for Art Directors to visually communicate brand narratives and associated data
  • Understand the significance of strategy in the creative development process
  • Familiarize with industry standards, particularly FDA regulations
  • Gain insight into client workflows, risk factors, and therapeutic histories
  • Exhibit a visual thinking approach
  • Comprehend the principles of branding and campaign development
Qualifications and Skills
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in an agency setting, particularly within healthcare
  • Background in science and/or medicine is advantageous
  • Possess an inquisitive nature, asking pertinent questions to uncover insights
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
  • Detail-oriented with excellent research and problem-solving capabilities
  • Quick learner with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a professional writing background being a significant advantage
