Job Title: Paramedic Lead

CCM Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic Lead to join our Emergency Services team.

Job Summary:

The Paramedic Lead will be responsible for overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation, training, and evaluation of patient care, protocols, and programs within the EMS department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Lead and train paramedic staff on new protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with RNs, EMTs, and providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Recruit, evaluate, and discipline paramedic staff as needed
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current National Registry Paramedic certification
  • Current MN Paramedic Certification
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • Current PALS or NRP Certification
  • Current valid, non-restricted Minnesota Driver's License
  • EVOC (or similar Emergency Vehicle Driving course) or ability to pass within one year
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of EMS work experience
  • Instructor status in training certification courses
  • Test examiner status for state/NREMT
  • Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist
