About the Role:

We are a reputable healthcare organization, Integrity Placement Group, seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to contribute to our dental care team. Our organization values integrity, compassion, and excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of dental equipment.
  • Utilize dental radiologic techniques, including holding a Dental Radiographer Certificate.
  • Apply knowledge of sterilization techniques to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and patients.
  • Employ problem-solving techniques and abilities to address challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Proficiently use dental EMR software to manage patient records and treatment plans.
  • Hold a valid license as a Dental Hygienist in Florida and maintain current BLS Certification.

Work Schedule and Environment:

  • Work an average of 36 hours per week, with a regular schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
  • Display professionalism, patient-centered attitudes, and teamwork behaviors.
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy, security, and breach notification rules.
  • Report as needed to the Director of Dental Operations.
  • Prepare, sterilize, organize, and set up dental equipment, ensuring that assigned dental instruments are cleaned, dated, and processed according to established clinic protocol.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $42 to $46 per hour, depending on experience.
  • 100% covered health insurance through UHC, available after 60 days of employment.
  • Free dental care for employees.
  • Paid time off, 6.04 hours every two weeks.
