As a EV Charging Systems Engineer at EVPassport, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that will challenge your skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for testing and validating charger systems to ensure they meet industry standards and are reliable and efficient.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who has hands-on experience in hardware or software testing, preferably in EV charging, power electronics, or embedded systems. You should have a strong understanding of EV chargers, electrical systems, networking protocols, and firmware validation processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and quality control procedures for charger hardware, networking, and payment systems.
  • Conduct in-person testing of EV chargers at various deployment locations to ensure reliability and uptime.
  • Validate new software and firmware updates, ensuring smooth functionality before large-scale rollouts.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on hardware and software issues, identifying root causes of failures.
  • Work closely with software developers and field teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
