We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, evaluating outcomes, and consulting with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required, and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Demonstrate knowledge of service line specific procedures, instrumentation, and implants.
- Assist with specialty equipment and components of case.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, and vendors regarding needed implants and supplies.
- Assess operating rooms for equipment functioning, supplies, implants, and readiness.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years Cardiovascular experience.
- Current BLS & ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Willing to take call/standby in the cardiovascular lab as needed.
