Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to hospital policies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and education sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and hospital policies.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and compassion.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Current licensure to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas (includes multistate).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required (may be obtained within 3 months of hire).
  • Department-specific requirements (may be obtained within 3 months of hire).
