Transportation Internship Program

The Walsh Group is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Transportation Internship Program. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, working on various transportation projects across the United States.
Responsibilities- Assist project managers and field supervision staff with project coordination, including writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting with change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including coordinating with various contracts and materials.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and strategies.
- Document project progress through photo documentation and other means.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Ability to work a 12-week work schedule, with flexibility to relocate for specific roles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
