Job Title: Night Shift Medical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Shift Medical Technologist to join our team at Sovah Health - Martinsville. As a key member of our sleep laboratory, you will be responsible for performing advanced sleep testing procedures and associated interventions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient and equipment set-up and effects acceptable tracings per department policy and procedure.
  • Supervise and train Sleep Laboratory Technicians and Trainees.
  • Assist with clerical and recordkeeping within the lab.
  • Clean and maintain equipment in accordance with department policy on a daily basis.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and determine course of action.
  • Properly document information regarding patients on studies and tech reports.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience working in a sleep laboratory, including at least one year of specific training administered by an RPSGT and a Sleep Board Certified Medical Director.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
