Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will operate with minimal supervision, tasked with supporting and managing customer order requirements at designated ports. This role thrives in an international setting, collaborating with colleagues across various locations. The primary responsibility is to ensure the fulfillment of customer orders at the ports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer orders from the Customer Service Representative (CSR) to delivery points
  • Prepare necessary documentation for product movement, including international transfers
  • Procure products as needed to satisfy customer orders
  • Communicate with the Customer Service department regarding order status updates
  • Conduct inventory assessments at assigned locations
  • Process warehouse delivery receipts and manage warehouse entries
  • Handle product transfers from the warehouse
  • Prepare and manage basic shipping documentation
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in order processing and fulfillment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Experience in supply chain management is advantageous
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards systems is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of export documentation is beneficial
  • Prior purchasing experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in an office setting and/or remotely
  • Willingness to travel within the continental United States and Canada for meetings or training is preferred but not mandatory
Education:
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Some college education is preferred but not mandatory
  • Fluency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus
Work Environment:

This position is based in a climate-controlled office environment, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods.
