Job Overview


Emerson Hospital seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care to patients in our Behavioral Health unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of our patients.



About the Role


As a Registered Nurse on our Behavioral Health unit, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect care to patients, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will also be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.



Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Graduate of a professional accredited nursing school
  • Previous experience in a mental health environment, preferred
  • Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts
  • BLS Healthcare provider certification
  • CPI certification within 3 months of hire
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Basic nursing skills and assessment skills
  • Computer skills and proficiency
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to protect confidential information


Compensation and Benefits


The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and location. Emerson Hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
