We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Per Diem Pool team at Corona Regional Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the Nurse Manager and Director of Behavioral Health Services.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Current California RN license required.
- Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
- At least two (2) years experience working with clients with serious and persistent mental illness, preferably one of those years in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Assaultive Behavior Management Training required within 90 days from date of hire.
This is a Per Diem, shift position, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our patients and healthcare team.
