About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Kleinfelder. As a key member of our site development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing site-civil engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Design: Design all aspects of engineering projects, including layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, storm water management, and erosion/sediment control.
  • Field Investigations: Conduct field investigations to determine existing conditions and gather data for project design.
  • Design Submissions: Prepare agency design submission packages for review and approval.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state, and local codes, and participate in permitting and completion of as-constructed/as-built drawings.
  • Technical Specifications: Draft technical specifications for projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant design experience in the site-civil engineering field.
  • Certifications: EIT/PE certification desirable.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, project managers, supervisors, and other team members.
