Parts Room Coordinator

About the Role:
As a key member of our team at Pactiv Evergreen Inc, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all maintenance and production spare parts are readily available to support operational needs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily cycle counting and inventory checks to maintain accurate stocking levels.
- Receive and organize incoming shipments, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including cost savings spreadsheets and inventory levels.
- Locate and purchase new stock additions, working with vendors and maintenance staff as needed.
- Input order requisitions and track transactions in and out of inventory.
- Establish reorder points for high-use spare parts and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow all Company established rules and policies, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
- Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Ensure housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe, clean, and tidy.
Stockroom Responsibilities:
- Pull parts from inventory for work orders and perform inventory checks to verify accuracy.
- Maintain documents related to parts, including inventory records and stock levels.
- Perform data entry functions and organize and maintain stockroom area.
- Receive, store, and distribute material, equipment, supplies, and/or tools, examining stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain inventory levels and stock records, inspecting, accepting, or rejecting materials received.
- Compile stock records for stockroom and warehouse, performing periodic inventories as required.
- Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt, storing articles in bins or locations as required.
- Fulfill orders or issue supplies from stock, distributing stock among PM work orders and keeping records of material issued.
- Move or transport material or supplies to other departments, cutting requisitions to fill orders.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of inventory control, material handling, or stockroom experience.
- WMS experience preferred.
- Dynamic, self-starter, proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with internal and external associates.
- General lifting of parts (up to 40-50 lbs.) may be required as a daily job task.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment while following departmental process and procedures.
- Strong work ethic, with willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Must be fluent and able to read and write English.
