Job Description

The Institute for Comm Living is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct medical assessments, and administer medications. Your expertise in assessing client needs and developing effective care plans will make a significant impact on their health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to clients, including administering medications, conducting medical assessments, and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Conduct regular medical reviews and updates to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

  • New York State License and current registration to practice as a registered professional nurse
  • At least one year post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
