Lead Mastectomy Fitter

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks a highly skilled Lead Mastectomy Fitter to provide expert care to patients undergoing mastectomy and other oncology treatments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mastectomy fitting, as well as experience in training and educating staff on regulatory requirements, product knowledge, and Shine policies and procedures.

This role is responsible for maintaining patient files, preparing required paperwork for claims submission and patient insurance documentation, and preparing staff for accreditation and regulatory surveys as it relates to our DME license.

• Patient fittings: compression, mastectomy, cane, wig, etc. including documentation and patient file creation and maintenance related to insurance, provider communication, and products.
• Trains and educates all fitters related to regulatory requirements, product knowledge, Shine policies and procedures.
• Inventory management of oncology goods - buying, stocking, pricing, sales, marketing, and merchandising. Establishes and maintains vendor relationships.
• Directs work of volunteers during shift to ensure tasks are complete.
