The Radiation Therapy Specialist works under the guidance of the Chief Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality technical care and support comprehensive patient treatment.
Key FunctionsClinical Expertise:
- Deliver high-quality technical care and support comprehensive patient treatment under the guidance of the Chief Radiation Therapist.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to optimize treatment planning and improve patient satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Support and promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology; required certification includes A.R.R.T. registration and CT Licensure.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in radiation therapy, with a minimum of 1 to 3 years within our organization.
Licensure: CT Licensure and ARRT Certification are required; BLS Certification is preferred within three months of hire.
Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on patient safety are essential.
